Currently got my Mk2 Golf 20Vt up for sale.
Been thinking about an S2 for a while now.
Ideally i would want about 1500 quid back if someone wanted to do a swap for my car - therefore im looking at S2's upto around the 4000 mark.
Conversion cost with a BAM code 20vt lump to this sort of standard is approx 5000 quid.

Basic spec.
G176 VTL - Ex PVW feature car when it was on 2 litre with bodies and Schmidt TH Lines.
Non PAS model.
Now running a full house Ex-Audi S3 BAM K04 lump on DTA E48 - engine has approximately 30000 miles on and was sourced from Ian Birch/Dubsport.
Conversion was carried out by Jim and setting up/final fitting was carried out by Dubsport.
G60 arches all round - inner arches all rolled and sealed.
Full Rollcentre FIA approved cage.
Sabelt 4 point drivers & 3 point passengers safety harnesses.
Late Spec Electric Recaro Seats in full working order.
Supersprint Group N system.
Golf VR6 Brake Master cylinder.
G60 conversion up front with braided hose's all round and 1144 pads,Mk4 rear calipers - all brakes have been renewed in the last 3000 miles.
Smoothed rear end - no boot lock, wiper,VW roundel etc.
Smoked Cross hair headlights.
Red rear lights.
FK debadged grille.
Porsche 930 black 'turbo' script badge on rear offside panel.
Momo Corse steering wheel with Porsche horn push.
Matt black with contrasting rim lip Porsche 8" D90 rims all round with hand painted centre caps.
Koni Adjustables all round (top adjustable front/twist adjustable rear).
Completely polybushed front end with new wihsbones.
All new custom ally intercooler & pipework.
All new larger Mk2 TD radiator and extended pipework.
Forge alloy actuator.
Cat 2 immobiliser.
Votex centre console.
Audioscape door pods.
Loads of stuff ive forgotten to mention no doubt - if you have any more question please ask me.
Tax is until end of Jan and i think MOT is March or thereabouts.
I have all the rear interior for her should you wish to put her back to a 4/5 seater and remove the cage.
I paid best part of 5000 for the car when i bought it from Jim and since then i have spent lots of time and money getting it running as it should.
I have run a 13.6 @105mph 1/4 mile at the pod into a 30mph headwind on street tyres with no fiddling around - i have no doubt with a decent set of tyres and some suspension adjustments she will be in the high 12's.
I estimate power now to be around 275bhp.
Bodywork on the whole is very good - i didnt buy it to look pretty but she does scrub up very nicely - i bought it to drive.
The passenger wiper hole on the scuttle has some corrosion as normal but apart from that she is very solid and polishes up nicely.
To sum up - she is an absolute animal on the road, you will cream the majority of cars out there be it Scoobies,Evo's or even 300+bhp Supercharged VR's eh Minty tongue.gif .
My only reason for sale is i need to free up some cash to make some cash and the easiest way for me to do it is to sell her.
If i dont get a decent offer then she will stay.
You know what i paid for her and you can have a guess what ive spent not including my time since buying her.
The price - £5500.
